Satzhan Temirgaliyev

Deputy CEO for Strategy and Transformation

Satzhan Temirgaliyev brings extensive experience in finance, strategic development, and business transformation within major industrial and mining companies, having dedicated 14 years of his career to Eurasian Resources Group (ERG).

From 2018 to 2023, Satzhan served as the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO), leading large-scale initiatives to enhance financial transparency, optimize costs, and implement advanced management and forecasting tools across all ERG regions.

Prior to this, he held several senior positions within the Group, including Head of Strategic Finance Projects, Regional CFO for Africa, and Head of Strategic Planning and Investment Analysis. Between 2014 and 2016, as Vice President for Economics, Finance and Business Transformation, he led the implementation of the SAP ERP system, the digitalization and automation of business processes, and the financial transformation of JSC SSGPO, one of ERG’s key assets.

After a brief break, in February 2025, Satzhan rejoined the Group as Director for Economics and Finance at JSC SSGPO, focusing on stabilizing the company’s financial performance and preparing it for the launch of major investment projects.

Satzhan Temirgaliyev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey) and an MBA from the University of Oxford (UK). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Alaska, USA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD, UK).

The appointment of Satzhan Temirgaliyev reflects ERG’s strategic focus on strengthening strategic planning, developing business systems, and enhancing operational efficiency.
