In 2006, the Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) launched its own unprecedented programme to provide housing for almost 70,000 employees. During this period, about 3,000 families of employees of the Group’s enterprises in the Aktobe (Aktobe, Khromtau), Karagandy (Karagandy), Kostanay (Rudny) and Pavlodar Regions (Pavlodar, Aksu, Ekibastuz) improved their living conditions as part of the Housing Programme.
The Housing Programme implemented by the Eurasian Resources Group is one of the largest programmes in Kazakhstan. The company understands that to be able to implement its investment projects and operate successfully, an enterprise needs its employees to be skilled and provided with social security, including housing.
Currently, the Eurasian Resources Group is taking active steps to implement the Housing Programme for employees of its enterprises as part of the Nurly Zhol – the Path to the Future programme announced by the President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev. Тhe Company has already concluded memoranda of understanding and cooperation in implementation of the Housing Programme of ERG with the Akimats (regional administrations) of the Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kostanay and Aktobe Regions. Before the end of 2019, the Company plans to build housing with a total area of about 80,000 square metres, or 19 apartment blocks, for the Group’s employees in four regions of Kazakhstan.
